Tokyo World Gate Akasaka reaches completion of second phase

Mori Trust announced on October 15th that Tokyo World Gate Akasaka, a large-scale mixed-use redevelopment project undertaken jointly with NTT Urban Development Corporation in Minato Ward, Tokyo, has reached completion of its second phase.

Recognized as a National Strategic Urban Planning and Development Project under the Tokyo National Strategic Special Zone framework, the complex consists of three buildings - Akasaka Trust Tower, NTT Akasaka Building, and ATT EAST - located between Tameike-Sanno and Roppongi-itchome stations on the Tokyo Metro network.

The site covers approximately 17,980 square meters with a total floor area of about 236,200 square meters.

The first phase of construction was completed in August 2024. Since then, the developers have been advancing the creation of a 5,600-square-meter green space surrounding the Akasaka Trust Tower, along with a pedestrian walkway connecting the project to the nearby Akasaka Hikawa Shrine.

Currently, over 95% of the office space has been leased, with tenants scheduled to move in sequentially. The site will also host Japan’s first 1 Hotel Tokyo, slated to open this winter, while retail facilities are expected to begin opening in stages from spring 2026.
