Mori Trust, in collaboration with NTT Urban Development, has announced the 1 Hotel Tokyo, Japan’s first under the eco-luxury 1 Hotels brand, set to open in the fall of 2025 as part of the Tokyo World Gate Akasaka project in Minato City, Tokyo.

Phase 1 of the project was completed in August, with an inauguration ceremony held on October 31.
Tokyo World Gate Akasaka: A Transformative Development
Certified as a National Strategic Special Zone Project, Tokyo World Gate Akasaka centers on the newly constructed Akasaka Trust Tower, alongside the NTT Akasaka Building and ATT EAST.

The site spans 17,980 square meters, with a total floor area of 236,200 square meters. The 43-story Akasaka Trust Tower includes modern office spaces, a hotel, serviced apartments, and cultural facilities, complemented by expansive green spaces.
1 Hotel Tokyo: Eco-Luxury in the Skies of Akasaka

Occupying the 38th to 43rd floors of the Akasaka Trust Tower, 1 Hotel Tokyo will feature sustainable design elements such as Oya stone, natural wood, live plants in guest rooms, and water conservation measures like room water dispensers and shower timers.

Public areas will evoke Japanese gardens, blending nature with luxury. Amenities include a restaurant, café, spa, fitness center, pool, and meeting rooms.

Phase 2, set for completion in October 2025, will include further pedestrian-friendly connections, including a pathway to Akasaka Hikawa Shrine.
