The WORLD TOWER RESIDENCE (all caps on purpose as it is the way the building is named), a 46-story residential high-rise with 389 units, has been completed as part of the Hamamatsucho 2-Chome District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project in Tokyo’s Minato Ward.
Residents are scheduled to begin moving in from March 2025.

Major Redevelopment Around Hamamatsucho Station
The redevelopment project is a collaboration between World Trade Center Building Inc., Kajima Corporation, Mitsui Fudosan Residential, Mitsubishi Estate Residence, and Tokyo Tatemono.
The project aims to revitalize the area surrounding Hamamatsucho Station, integrating residential, office, and commercial spaces, as well as the Minato City Arts Center.
The full Hamamatsucho 2-Chome District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project is scheduled to be completed in 2027.

Located a two-minute walk from Hamamatsucho Station on the JR Yamanote, Keihin-Tohoku, and Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport lines, the WORLD TOWER RESIDENCE offers 1LDK to 3LDK units, ranging from approximately 40 to 148 square meters.

Residents will have access to high-end shared facilities, including a café lounge, guest lounge, party room, and guest rooms.

The interior and common areas were designed by Ilia Corporation and Patricia Urquiola S.p.A., reflecting a modern and sophisticated aesthetic.
Application-Powered Homeowner’s Association Communications
To enhance convenience, the five participating companies have collaborated with NTT East-South Kanto Corporation and Vacan Inc. to develop the "Sumika Residence App."

This application allows residents to check real-time availability and reserve common facilities, while also receiving notifications from the building management association.
