Concerns were raised by local residents that the building would obstruct the view of Mt. Fuji, leading to the decision to proceed with demolition before the planned handover in July.

At the financial results briefing held on the same day, President Yoshihiro Nakai explained, "We recognize that Mt. Fuji holds a special significance for Japan. While I believe it was the right decision to halt the project, I apologize for the delay in making the decision and for the inconvenience caused to various parties."
The Grand Maison Kunitachi Fujimi-dori currently under demolition was a 10-story building with 18 units. Construction began in January 2023. The property was located along Fujimi-dori, which extends southwest from JR Kunitachi Station on the Chuo Line.
