Tokyu Plaza Ginza was renamed GinzaNovo on December 1, 2025. To mark the rebranding and the facility’s first Christmas under the new name, a seasonal event titled “Kaleidoscope of Joy: GinzaNovo × Ribbonesia” will be held.

GinzaNovo, formerly Tokyu Plaza Ginza, updated exterior CG rendering courtesy of press release linked at the bottom of this article.
According to the press release linked at the bottom of this article, the name GinzaNovo incorporates the Latin term Novo, meaning new, and references a nova, a newly visible star. The rebranding reflects the facility’s plan to update its retail environment while maintaining its connection to Ginza.
Tenants include major luxury brands such as Prada. Future plans include expanding flagship-store areas and adjusting the floor layout to improve access to upper levels.

The seasonal campaign begins on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, on the third floor. It will feature two kaleidoscope-shaped installations - each about four meters wide and 3.35 meters high - created with ribbon art by the artist unit Ribbonesia.
The works draw on traditional kiriko cut-glass motifs and will function as photo spots. Admission is free.
