Sangenjaya tops Tokyo rental station rankings for late 2025

Japan real estate property portal AtHome on February 4th released its AtHome Rental Station Ranking - Tokyo 23 Wards Edition, which identifies train stations generating the highest page views for residential rental listings posted on the AtHome property website.
The survey covered the period from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, 2025.
In the overall ranking, Sangenjaya Station topped the list. The station, served by the Tokyu Den-en-toshi and Setagaya lines and designated as an express stop on the Den-en-toshi Line, ranked first. Shin-Koiwa Station placed second, followed by Kasai Station in third.

For single-occupant properties ranging from studio units to one-bedroom apartments (1DK), Sangenjaya again ranked first with Koenji Station placing second.
Koenji Station is served by the JR Chuo and Sobu lines and offers travel to Tokyo Station in approximately 20 minutes via Shinjuku station.
Neighboring Nakano Station ranked third, with the commercial complex Atre Nakano scheduled to open in December 2026.
In the category of couple-oriented properties ranging from one-bedroom to two-room layouts (1LDK to 2DK), Shin-Koiwa Station, located at the southern tip of Katsushika Ward and served by the JR Sobu Rapid Line and Chuo-Sobu Local Line, ranked first. Kinshicho Station placed second, followed by Meguro Station in third.
For family-oriented properties of 2DK or larger, Kachidoki Station ranked first. The area around the former Olympic Village site has seen the development of numerous high-rise condominium towers.
Kasai Station placed second in the family category, while Oizumi-Gakuen Station ranked third.
