IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) is set to bring the globally recognized Holiday Inn brand back to Tokyo in collaboration with its long-term partner, BEST HOSPITALITY Network, a subsidiary of TSUKADA GLOBAL HOLDINGS.
The ANA Holiday Inn Tokyo Bay, a 132-room property, will officially rebrand in April 2025 following an extensive renovation.
Established 73 years ago, the Holiday Inn brand is known for its innovative guest experiences and has become one of the world’s most renowned hotel names.
The rebranded ANA Holiday Inn Tokyo Bay will join a network of 10 ANA Holiday Inn properties in Japan and add to the brand’s global footprint of over 1,200 hotels and nearly 300 in development.

“This is a milestone year for Holiday Inn in Japan as we return to both Kyoto and Tokyo,” said Abhijay Sandilya, CEO of IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan and Managing Director of IHG Hotels & Resorts Japan & Micronesia. “These openings reaffirm our commitment to offering exceptional accommodations in key markets and further strengthen our long-term partnership with BEST HOSPITALITY Network Inc.”
Sandilya added that the expansion is part of IHG’s strategy to grow its portfolio in Japan, which now includes nine brands across the Luxury & Lifestyle, Premium, and Essentials segments.
Masayuki Tsukada, CEO of BEST HOSPITALITY Network, highlighted the timing of the rebranding, pointing to Japan’s record-breaking international arrivals in 2024. “The relaunch of ANA Holiday Inn Tokyo Bay aligns perfectly with the growing demand for quality accommodations in Tokyo. This property will complement our existing IHG hotels in the city and enhance the range of options available to travelers.”
Located on the upper floors of Seafort Tower, ANA Holiday Inn Tokyo Bay offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Its prime location includes a direct connection to Tennozu Isle Station on the Tokyo Monorail and is just 10 minutes by car from JR Shinagawa Station, ensuring easy access to key attractions such as Odaiba Island and the city’s vibrant dining and entertainment hubs.
IHG currently operates five hotels across three brands in Tokyo, including ANA InterContinental Tokyo, InterContinental Tokyo Bay, The Strings by InterContinental, Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo, and Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya.
