The consortium of ten developers behind the large-scale mixed-use redevelopment Harumi Flag in Tokyo’s Chuo Ward announced on September 19th that it has completed construction and begun handovers of the condominium towers Harumi Flag Sky Duo, comprising 1,455 units.
With the delivery of these twin towers, the entire Harumi Flag project has now reached completion.

The project, built on the former Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Athletes’ Village site, was advanced under the city-led Harumi 5-chome West District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project.
Covering 133,906 square meters, the development consists of 24 buildings with a total of 5,632 residential units - 4,145 for sale and 1,487 for rent - along with retail space, childcare facilities, and commercial amenities.
Positioned at the center of the development, Sky Duo serves as Harumi Flag’s landmark. It consists of two 50-story reinforced-concrete towers: Sun Village with 733 units and Park Village with 722 units. The site areas measure 37,441 square meters and 35,176 square meters respectively, both designed with seismic isolation structures.
The buildings have also been certified as low-carbon architecture and long-life quality housing. Harumi Flag is located approximately 18 minutes on foot from Kachidoki Station on the Toei Oedo Line.
The residences range from one- to three-bedroom layouts (1LDK–3LDK). Unit sizes span from 49.38 to 145.54 square meters in Sun Village and from 47.74 to 161.12 square meters in Park Village, with an overall average of about 74 square meters.
Ceiling heights in living rooms reach 2.6 meters, offering a spacious living environment. Designed with a skeleton-infill system, the units can be flexibly adapted to changing lifestyles.
Both towers also feature sky lounges on their 48th floors.
The project was jointly developed by ten major firms: Mitsui Fudosan Residential, Mitsubishi Estate Residence, Nomura Real Estate Development, Sumitomo Realty & Development, Sumitomo Corporation, Tokyu Land, Tokyo Tatemono, NTT Urban Development, Nippon Steel Kowa Real Estate, and Daiwa House Industry.
